Kiara believes every community deserves spaces that feel like an exhale. As an artist and creative, she's drawn to the work of bringing people together, honoring stories, and celebrating the wisdom that already exists within neighborhoods and communities.

Originally from the South and now rooted in South Minneapolis, her work is shaped by memory, culture, and a deep love for Black and Queer communities. She finds joy in creating experiences that invite people in, spark conversation, and strengthen connection.

Being part of Southside Midwifery allows her to contribute to a practice that values care beyond the clinic, where community, belonging, and collective support are just as important as the services provided.
